There was this rock band once, singer was ob-sessed with this place. Named an album after it. He was one of them smash up the hotel room types. I think he did a little too much partying, went crazy. Who'd wanna name a record after this dingy old stink hole in the desert? 

Anyway, i heard they found him in the valley with no shirt on. Their tour bus had run out of fuel, he insisted he'd go back the 2 miles to the station. It seemed like he was headed the right way down the road. Sheriff said they said he broke off into the desert. They found him skin welted & sunburnt, ranting & raving like a loon about some cowboy. I don't know. That dry heat kind of creeps up on ya fast out here if ya ain't careful.
