He never missed, matching them poor bastards with poorer animals like some cursed postal sorter with the precision of a fine swiss pocket watch. 

He just up & walked into the desert that day like he was compelled by god herself. Stoic as ever, wearing that stone face he always had. No Horse, just his boots to move him. They saw his silhouette against the blast, & when everyone got their sight back after the flash he was just gone. But the stories from them that seen him since will send chills down your spine.
